Preparation & Aftercare

• Allow your tan to fully develop for the recommended time.
• Avoid water, sweating, or any activity that causes moisture on the skin.
• Do not exercise or shower early.
• When you rinse, wait until the water runs clear, then gently pat skin dry — do not rub.

• Moisturise daily to prolong your tan and maintain an even finish.
• Avoid long baths, saunas, or swimming — these will fade your tan faster.
• Always apply SPF — sunless tans do not offer sun protection.
• Begin light exfoliation after 5–7 days to encourage a smooth, even fade.

• Exfoliate your whole body the night before your tan, focusing on dry areas (elbows, knees, ankles, hands, feet).
• Complete all hair removal at least 24 hours before your tan.
• Do not apply moisturiser, perfume, or deodorant on the day of your appointment.
• Remove contact lenses before treatment to avoid irritation.

• Wear loose, dark clothing after your tan.
• Avoid light colours, tight bras, jeans, socks, or closed shoes.
• Tight clothing or rubbing can cause streaking and a patchy finish.

• Avoid soaking your hands in water for long periods (e.g. swimming or hot baths).
• Avoid direct heat such as saunas or sunbeds.

• Wear gloves when washing dishes, cleaning, or gardening.
• Be cautious with insect repellents, sun creams, or alcohol-based products, as these can break down the gel.
• Moisturise your hands and nails daily — we love hand cream, body butter, or almond oil.
• Use cuticle oil regularly to maintain hydration and prevent lifting.

• Don't file or reshape your nails — this will break the gel seal and may lead to lifting.
• Don't pick or peel your gel — this causes damage and thinning of the natural nail plate.
